Early Opera Company CD is BBC Music Magazine Choral & Song Choice

We are delighted that Wigmore Hall Live's recording by the Early Opera Company of Handel's Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno is BBC Music Magazine's Choral & Song Choice for April 2011.

In the review George Pratt awards the recording 5 stars for both performance and sound quality, and describes the CD as a "...superb performance, reflecting the exuberance and inventiveness of Handel".

He also notes that soprano Lucy Crowe is "breathtaking in pyrotechnic displays of virtuosity" and calls the CD "an outsdanding achievement".
