Wigmore Hall Live is Gramophone Label of the Year

Wigmore Hall Live has become the first live label to win the Gramophone Label of the Year Award. The first classical music venue in the world to have launched its own record label, Wigmore Hall’s magnificent acoustic and intimate atmosphere have elevated it to one of the most popular venues for chamber music and song recitals. With well over forty recordings released, Wigmore Hall Live is renowned for capturing the spontaneous atmosphere of live performances from the Hall’s stage. The label has been running for just six years and has already attracted many inspiring international artists to perform a diverse and exciting range of repertoire.
