In September 2009, Wigmore Hall will be host to an international event which honours every facet of the song repertoire with piano.

What distinguishes the Competition from other similar events is the fact that it seeks the best song recitalist rather than opera performer, in accordance with the Hall’s longstanding reputation for song and chamber music.
