Summary
Sandy Burnett finds out about the All Sing! Harrow Road Community Choir, a Wigmore Hall Learning initiative.
The All Sing! Harrow Road Community Choir was set up by Wigmore Hall Learning at the end of 2009, following an approach from the Harrow Road Ward councilors. It has since attracted people from a broad section of the local community with over 60 people participating every term.
The choir has performed several successful concerts, both at Wigmore Hall and in community settings. From January 2011 the choir will become an independent community-run group, and their concert at Wigmore Hall on Saturday 11 December 2010 will be a celebration of how far they have come under the umbrella of Wigmore Hall Learning.
