Handel’s Acis and Galatea might be one of the most popular works in Handel’s catalogue - but what about his earlier Italian version of the same story, Aci, Galatea e Polifemo? Sandy Burnett interviews director Paul McCreesh as he prepares to perform both works side by side on 14 February 2009.
