The Children who went to the North Wind
Wigmore Hall Special Schools Project in partnership with the Orpheus Centre
Celebrating new music at Wigmore Hall, Wigmore Hall is collaborating with the Orpheus Centre, a performing arts centre for young disabled adults to explore the traditional story ‘The Children who went to the North Wind’ through music and movement and drama.
Led by workshop leaders Rachel Leach and Tim Yealland and involving students from Westminster special needs school, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee, the project will involve a series of workshops and a unique performance by school students on Thursday 25 November. Students from the Orpheus Centre will join the team to support the creative process and act as peer mentors to project participants.
