Alina Ibragimova & Cedric Tiberghien: Beethoven Violin Sonatas Series

Young Russian violinist Alina Ibragimova really is the young artist of the moment – still only 26 years old, she has an impressive list of eight recordings to her name, three of which we are proud to say she made for our Wigmore Hall Live label: the complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas with Cédric Tiberghien.

Our third and final volume of the complete set is currently on the shortlist for the 2011 Gramophone Awards ‘chamber music’ recording category, and Alina herself is shortlisted for Artist of the Year.
