Biography
Pauliina Tukiainen studied piano in Finland and Germany, and she has participated in masterclasses with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Christoph Prégardien and Mitsuko Shirai.
In recent years she has performed at many renowned international venues, including the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Oper Frankfurt, Cape Classic Festival and Liederhalle in Stuttgart.
She has received scholarships from the Finnish Culture Foundation, Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and Richard Wagner Society.
In 2007 she won second prize in the Kiwanis Lied Competition in Zürich. In 2009 she won third prize and a special prize in the International Competition for Lied Duos in Graz.
