Biography
Kresimir Strazanac studied with Maria Veres in Croatia and in Stuttgart with Dunja Vejzoviç and Cornelis Witthoefft, graduating with honours in 2006.
His prizes include the international La Voce Competition of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, the Paula Salomon Lindberg Competition, the international Cantilena Competition in Bayreuth and the Richard Wagner Association Scholarship.
He has participated in masterclasses with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Francisco Araiza and Thomas Hampson, and has sung a wide oratorio repertoire.
In 2007/8 he became a member of the ensemble at the Zürich Opera, where he has sung roles including Harlekin (Ariadne auf Naxos), Ping (Turandot), Don Fernando (Fidelio) and Morales (Carmen).
