The Wigmore Hall Development Fund
For over 106 years, Wigmore Hall has presented music of the highest quality and allowed audiences to discover and enjoy both extraordinary talent and a broad range of repertoire. Wigmore Hall is now engaged in a major fundraising campaign to maintain its role as leading venue for the performance of chamber music and song.
The Wigmore Hall Development Fund will provide the Hall with long term financial stability and the opportunity to invest in special projects which will both maintain and enhance our artistic programmes.
The Wigmore Hall Development Fund
The Wigmore Hall Development Fund is a fund set aside for the long term support of the Hall, financed partly by a proportion of surplus revenue and partly by donations. A portion of the capital will initially be made available in order to repay in full the loans taken out to purchase the Hall’s lease. Subsequently donations will be applied to a range of projects and will allow our donors to become involved and engaged with the Hall’s artistic plans. Wigmore Hall continues to need your support, at this time more than ever, to reach our £4 million target over the next 3 years. These funds will be allocated to the special categories listed below.Special Projects for the Development Fund 2007-2012
