Being a Friend of Wigmore Hall
Since opening in 1901, Wigmore Hall has consistently presented the world's best musicians in its intimate and glowing acoustic. This rare combination of artist and place has won the hearts of generations of concert-goers in what is widely recognised as being the home of great Chamber Music and Song.
With the founding of the Friends in the early 1990s the connection between our artists and audience has grown closer and more rewarding. Friends of Wigmore Hall have always been at the heart of our audience and collectively they help to make the Wigmore experience so special – there is a real feeling of inclusion, belonging and welcome.
Every one of our Friends helps the Wigmore Hall Trust, a registered charity, to develop and present the extensive, diverse and acclaimed programme of concerts, education events and outreach projects.
