About this concert

Having won four prizes at the 2007 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, the Atos Trio is among the current roster of BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists scheme. While Rachmaninov’s first Trio élégiaque carries a doleful air, Beethoven’s noble ‘Archduke’ Trio erupts into a light-hearted, rustic finale.
