About this concert

One of Britain’s best-loved piano trios, the Florestans produced a Gramophone Award-winning release of Schumann’s first two piano trios over a decade ago, drawing the acclamation, ‘Music-making just doesn’t come much more sympathetic or stylish than this.’ Schumann followed his first trio with one he claimed ‘makes a friendlier and more immediate impression’.
