About this concert

Debussy initially considered entitling his whimsical Cello Sonata ‘Pierrot angry with the moon’. After the tiny ‘Shadow Line’ by Danish composer Bent Sørensen comes the second of Mozart’s three major works featuring the clarinet, an instrument which he avidly championed, both in an orchestral and solo context.
