About this concert

Schubert’s native ability to move from joy to despair within the span of a few bars reached extraordinary levels of invention in his songs. The accomplished young members of the Royal Academy of Music Song Circle, always eagerly awaited by visitors to Wigmore Hall, present a Schubertiade devoted to songs inspired by the poetry of his friends.
