Jörg Widmann is one of the most exciting young composers emerging on to the classical platform at the moment. Acclaimed in his home country of Germany, news of his talent is quickly spreading worldwide.

In the first comprehensive focus on his music in the United Kingdom Wigmore Hall presents five concerts featuring some of Jörg Widmann’s best chamber works alongside classic repertoire of Schubert and Mozart, two of the composers who have had a direct influence on him.
