The pianist’s mature thoughts on the art of accompaniment and feeling for the song recital’s unique alchemy lie at the heart of Wigmore Hall’s Julius Drake: ‘Perspectives’, a season-long series of concerts exploring everything from the overt emotions of Musorgsky and expressive chiaroscuro of Wolf’s Lieder to the towering achievement of Hanns Eisler’s Hollywood Songbook.
