Overview

Ed Lyon’s wide repertoire spans everything from Dowland lute songs and Monteverdi’s Orfeo, for which he received five-star reviews in the title-role at Garsington Opera, to the music of Britten and James MacMillan. The tenor’s catholic musical tastes, generous spirit and seductive voice are sure to be on display in this rich mix of works by British composers, the second half of which evokes the glamorous nights of London’s theatreland in the 1920s and 1930s.
