    Overview

Wigmore Hall Associate Artist Thomas Adès continues his season-long residency with a fascinating blend of works new and old. He’s joined by members of the Hallé Orchestra, of which he is Principal Guest Conductor, Wigmore Hall regular Sean Shibe and Anna Dennis, recipient of the 2023 Royal Philharmonic Society Singer award. Virtuoso works for clarinet by Gerald Barry and Alban Berg, music inspired by Shakespeare’s verse, Francisco Coll’s guitar concerto Turia, and exotic compositions by Ravel and Falla combine to form their beguiling programme.
