Overview
Daniel Barenboim and the Boulez Ensemble mark the beginning of Wigmore Hall’s new artistic partnership with Berlin’s Pierre Boulez Saal and the Daniel Barenboim Stiftung, part of a wider programme of new international collaborations designed to foster artistic exchange and new opportunities for emerging musicians. Boulez’s jewel-like Dérive 1 and Mozart’s magnificent Gran Partita offer a fitting celebration of a shared commitment to chamber music, creativity and musical dialogue.
