All Young Artists’ Platform performers appearing in this showcase concert are graduates of the Royal Northern College of Music. The A4 Brass Quartet won the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble of the Year award in its first year there together.

Toby Hughes was principal bass at the National Youth Orchestra, studying extensively abroad before returning to graduate at the RNCM where he is now a Junior Fellow.
