Overview
Elliot Carter’s breakthrough work from 1951 is joined by a 2020 piece by a founding violinist of the group, who takes as his source a 1594 piece by the Renaissance organist and composer Nathaniel Giles, and another by an American composer born in 1969 and regularly championed by the JACK.
