Overview

According to The Guardian, ‘top performances and meticulous imagination’ characterised the ensemble’s most recent release on disc. The late and greatly admired Kaija Saariaho is appropriately represented by a 2007 piece dedicated ‘for those departed’, Bartók by a rarely performed work composed in 1903-4, for which the group is joined by Daniel Lebhardt.

This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25

This concert is made possible by a legacy gift.
