Overview
The practical JS Bach re-used his own music in different contexts. What is perhaps his first attempt at a harpsichord concerto, BWV1058 derives from the Violin Concerto in A minor BWV1041. The programme also features a work by JS Bach’s predecessor Johann Rosenmüller (c.1619-84).
