Overview

Each of the ensemble's Haydn discs includes a new work, with the Swiss composer’s new piece planned for a future release. A 1963 work by another Swiss composer, of Hungarian origin – Sándor Veress (1907-92) – was inspired by paintings by Claude Lorrain, Nicolas Poussin and Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
