Its intimacy and elegance, as well as its extraordinary acoustic attracts musicians the world over. The relationship between audiences and artists is unique. It is our mission to assure that all members of our audience continue to hear and see the best that established and emerging talent can offer, and in so doing, maintain the traditions which have made Wigmore Hall the great and respected venue it is today.
Box Office income and public grants leave a funding gap of over £800,000 a year. If we relied only on ticket sales for our concert and education budgets, the results would be a dramatic reduction in the scope of what we currently offer. It is the gifts from our supporters which place us in a strong position to plan a rich and varied programme, and provide the opportunities for people of all ages to have access to music and musicians in their communities and at the Hall itself. We continue to need your help more than ever. All our membership schemes and special projects are designed to engage all our donors directly and to truly enhance their Wigmore Hall experience.
