Transformational philanthropy at the heart of Wigmore Hall
Director’s Circle
Our closest supporters
Members of the Director’s Circle are our closest supporters, making annual gifts of £20,000 or more. This is an opportunity to be a key part in the Hall’s life: to understand its direction, contribute to its resilience, and help sustain the qualities that make Wigmore Hall special.
Our independence
This level of giving underpins our independence. It allows us to take creative risks, nurture artists over time, and maintain the highest standards. Your support ensures that Wigmore Hall remains a place where artists do their best work and where audiences encounter music of depth and integrity.
Our Director
Members of the Director’s Circle are connected directly to John Gilhooly and have insight into the ideas, priorities and choices that sit behind the programme. Through an ongoing relationship, members gain a clear sense of how Wigmore Hall operates and where philanthropy can make the greatest difference. Gifts at this level enable the Director to pursue artistic and educational priorities with confidence.
To discuss joining the Director’s Circle, please contact Tara Fry, Head of Grants and Donor Care, by email or on 020 7258 8222.
Director’s Fund
The Director’s Fund is invested to strengthen Wigmore Hall for the long term. Your philanthropy can help to grow the fund, with investment returns supporting artistic work over time. The Director’s Fund has already enabled Wigmore Hall to step away from public funding and provides a vital foundation for future seasons. Looking ahead, further growth will ensure that Wigmore Hall remains artistically ambitious, resilient and independent for generations to come.
We typically discuss Director’s Fund gifts from £50,000. Please contact Sam Rigby, Head of Development and Marketing, by email or on 020 7258 8237 for more information.
