Overview

As a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and repetiteur, Harry Rylance has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues - Royal Festival Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Seoul Arts Centre and Toronto and Glenn Gould Concert Hall - and at international music festivals including Aspen, Heidelberg and Dartington. His lunchtime programme focuses on opera and collaborates with the young American soprano Liv Redpath, who made her UK debut as Tytania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Glyndebourne last summer, and sings Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Royal Opera House this season. Richard Strauss’s deeply romantic Brentano Lieder are followed by Liszt’s magnificent transcriptions of Wagner’s Liebestod and Tannhäuser Overture.

Promoted by the Royal Academy of Music.
