Overview
One of the regular focuses of the Spanish pianist’s repertoire is music from or associated with his own country – including here pieces by Debussy. International Piano admired his recording of the Estampes and Book 1 of the Préludes: ‘there is no denying’, it stated, ‘the sheer finesse and sensual joy of Perianes’ playing’.
