Overview

The focus of the French mezzo’s recital is the work of two remarkable sisters: Lili (1893-1918) and Nadia (1887-1979) Boulanger – the latter best known as a teacher, but also a noted conductor and composer. With the exception of Lili, all the women composers featured in this recital have appeared on the Wigmore Hall stage as performers.
