Overview
Two universally admired Canadian artists precede large-scale sonatas with an atmospheric piece by the Polish late-Romantic. Of Ehnes’s recording of the Szymanowski triptych of which The Fount of Arethusa is the first section, Gramophone wrote, ‘Myths is all heightened sensuality and warmth, its heady atmosphere evoked through playing of extraordinary colour, detail and dexterity.'
