Music’s power to move its audience remains crucial to the work of the Dudok Quartet Amsterdam. BBC Music Magazine found that its recording of Tchaikovsky’s First and Second String Quartets ‘transfigured’ both works, such was its emotional intensity. The Quartet begins this morning with Mozart’s ebullient ‘Spring’ Quartet.
