Overview

Julius Asal’s sensitive, hauntingly beautiful pianism, poetic and insightful, has attracted widespread acclaim. He became the latest winner of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists' Terence Judd-Hallé Award in March 2025, further recognition of a compelling young artist praised by Le Monde for the ‘enchanting uniqueness’ of his interpretations.
