Overview

The first concert in a brand-new series presented by the Strings Department at the Royal Academy of Music, featuring cello sonatas by Beethoven, Ligeti and Rachmaninov.

Russian cellist Ivan Sendetsky is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the Grunewald International Music Competition, Vienna International Music Competition and Manhattan International Music Competition. He has appeared the Verbier Festival, Schlern Music Festival and Moscow Easter Festival, among others. He regularly performs at prestigious concert halls, including BOZAR in Brussels, Tonhalle Zürich and the Mariinsky Theatre. He is currently studying on the Advanced Diploma programme for 2025/26 at the Royal Academy of Music.
