    Overview

Hugh Cutting pays homage to the soprano castrato Giusto Ferdinando Tenducci, whose star billing was tarnished by a spell in debtors’ prison in London in 1760, revived following his move to Dublin and relinquished after he married and was imprisoned again thanks to the moral outrage raised by his in-laws. Hugh is joined by members of Irish Baroque Orchestra for a series of Tenducci hits, Gluck’s ‘Che farò’ and airs by Arne among them.
