      Overview

Jordi Savall and Hespèrion XXI have enchanted audiences worldwide for over half a century by taking works written long ago and making them sound as if they were composed yesterday. Their lunchtime concert places instrumental consort pieces from Elizabethan and Jacobean England together with pioneering compositions from the aristocratic courts of Italy and Germany, crowned by Monteverdi’s tuneful ballet Tirsi e Clori.
