Described by The Telegraph as ‘nothing short of phenomenal’, the Pacifica Quartet returns to Wigmore Hall. The programme explores Florence Price’s eloquent lyricism and Prokofiev’s wartime intensity, before culminating in Beethoven’s Op. 130, crowned by the Grosse Fuge. This evening’s concert will be characterised by the urgency and expressive depth of one of today’s most authoritative string quartets.
