Overview

Sphinx Organization, the Detroit-based non-profit social justice enterprise founded by violinist and music educator Aaron P Dworkin in 1996, is committed to transforming lives not least through the power of diversity in the arts. Its programme includes William Grant Still’s wholehearted Suite, presented in a resounding arrangement for cello and piano by long-term Sphinx associate Randall Goosby, and the intensely moving Songs of Kinship by British composer, saxophonist and bandleader Cassie Kinoshi.
