Overview

The quartet’s first programme brings together both immensely talented siblings – Felix and Fanny – with the latter’s substantial quartet dating from 1834, as well as her brother’s final quartet, composed shortly before his own death in 1847 but often interpreted as a memorial for his beloved sister.
