Due to unforeseen circumstances, Florian Uhlig (piano) is no longer available for the above concert. We are grateful to Boris Kusnezow (piano) for stepping in as their replacement. The programme has changed slightly and will now be as below.

Included in the final programme are Jewish Songs setting texts by IL Peretz (1943), the Third Sonata for violin and piano (1947), dedicated to violinist Mikhail Fikhtengolts, with its Jewish melodic elements and influence of Shostakovich, its equivalent for solo violin (1979), dedicated to the composer’s father, and the Moldavian Rhapsody (1949).
