Overview

While Antje Weithaas takes on one of the challenging solo sonatas by the Belgian virtuoso Eugène Ysaÿe, the duo unites for a work by Darius Milhaud, one of the most high-profile members of Les Six, dating from 1945; influenced by jazz and blues, it was written for violinist Alexander Schneider and harpsichordist Ralph Kirkpatrick.
