Interval
Taking its name from that of the Czech composer who met his untimely death in Auschwitz, the ensemble here selects a 1923 dance suite by a talented compatriot who died in a Nazi prison in 1942, and adds Martinů’s Fifth Quartet, written in 1938, then lost, and premièred only in 1955.
