Overview
With acclaimed cycles on disc of the complete quartets of Shostakovich as well as those his friend and younger colleague Weinberg, the ensemble can look back on more than 30 years as a leading group on the international scene, recently in residence at Wigmore Hall: its live cycles of the Weinberg sequence performed in Utrecht and Manchester were the first ever to be given.
