Overview

The German soprano has won exceptional success in the operas of Mozart as well as Lieder. In 2013 she shared with Ian Bostridge an Echo Klassik Award for an album of Robert Schumann, while a disc of the latter conjoined with Berg won her and pianist Mitsuko Uchida a Grammy in 2017 – the same year she was awarded the title of Kammersängerin at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin.
