Two duet cantatas feature in this evening's programme from The English Concert: Il duello amoroso is one of a number of Handel's cantatas which survive only in manuscripts in the Santini collection at Münster and which are still unpublished; Tanti strali al sen mi scocchi belongs to a series of duets written on his return to Hanover in 1710 after his stay in Italy.
