Overview
New to the UK is a piece by Sally Beamish, herself a string player: her instrument is the viola. It received its première at the West Cork Chamber Festival in June 2023, and as in other commissions from the trio, it is intended as a companion piece to Haydn's piano trios.
This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25
