Overview

Slavic folksongs and the Native American melodies Dvořák heard while living in the United States echo through his radiant ‘American’ Quartet. The Dover Quartet couples it with Robert Schumann’s A minor Quartet, the rapturous outcome of his ‘quartetish thoughts’ of 1842.
