CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition

String quartets from leading Conservatoires across the UK will be performing for the First, Second and Audience Prizes of the CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition. This is a great opportunity to watch and support young musicians in the early stages of their professional careers. In 2025, the quartets will be performing Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 7 in F Op. 59 No. 1. 

The Competition is dedicated to one of CAVATINA’s two founders, the late Pamela Majaro.

First Prize ⋅ Tamesis Quartet from Guildhall School of Music and Drama
Second Prize ⋅ Karelia Quartet from Royal Academy of Music
