Overview

This evening’s recital from Sean Shibe opens with the world première of James Dillon’s 12 Caprices, a collection of miniatures inspired by the Andalusian poet and dramatist Federico García Lorca. Dillon’s new work stands in company with Cassandra Miller’s Bel Canto, a multi-layered meditation on Maria Callas, and Boulez’s seminal Le marteau sans maître.
