Mikhail Timoshenko’s career has soared since he won the 2019 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition. The charismatic baritone, whose recent credits include Mozart’s Papageno at the Paris Opéra and Puccini’s Marcello at Covent Garden, returns with pianist Elitsa Desseva and their programme 'Journey 100', commemorating the 100th anniversary of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau’s birth. Together they explore songs rooted in the myths and metaphors of life’s journey.
